Role Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Logistics to lead the development and execution of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics processes that support the company’s supply chain and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Ensure optimal inventory levels and accurate stock management across locations.
Coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely delivery.
Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities and cost reductions.
Lead and mentor logistics team members, setting KPIs and tracking performance.
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with third-party logistics providers and vendors.
Drive the implementation of logistics technology and systems.
Prepare logistics reports and updates for senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the F&B industry.
Strong understanding of logistics operations, ERP systems, and inventory control.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Strong communication in both Arabic and English.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and deliver results efficiently.
