Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. This role is responsible for managing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and optimize logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor and improve delivery performance, turnaround times, and cost efficiency
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and process improvements
- Manage logistics budgets and control operational costs
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Track shipments and resolve any delays or issues
- Lead, train, and evaluate logistics staff and warehouse teams
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and key metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- 2–4+ years of leadership or managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems, inventory management, and distribution processes
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in logistics or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Pay: QAR23,000.00 per month
