Follow up with vendors on documentation for airfreight to ensure timely clearance of goods.
Ensure document compliance in accordance with Dubai customs and Dubai Municipality regulations
Follow up with forwarders and vendors for flight bookings and track arrival dates daily.
Transmit documents to buying department for PO creation to ensure GRN receipts at warehouse.
Prepare FIRS (Food import request system) in Dubai Municipality portal for sea freight and air freight shipments.
Handle the airfreight clearance independently with the clearance staff during absence of Logistics coordinator.
Create weekly shipping updates
Maintain records of all shipments
