The College of Engineering and Technology invites applications for the Logistics and Maintenance Officer role.
Responsibilities
Ensure all equipment’s functionality, proper maintenance, and calibration.
Obtain appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to perform specific tasks.
Display proficiency in theequipment maintenanceprocess.
Maintain equipment records and documentation.
Organize the allocation and distribution of training materials, equipment, and supplies while maintaining accurate records and implementing inventory control measures to ensure adequate stock levels for ongoing and upcoming training programs.
Maintain comprehensive records of logistics activities, including inventory movements, facility coordination, and supply chainoptimizationefforts.
Establish reports on logistical operations and identify areas for operational improvement.
Facilitate the regular monitoring and updating of implemented tools.
Ensure compliance with safety rules while implementing security measures for storing and transporting training materials to establish a secure and regulatory-compliant environment.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ensure adherence to UDST protocol and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Education:
Diploma in any Engineering discipline from a recognized, accredited institution.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of technical experience in a university setting.
Language:
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonalcommunication skills.
Bilingual in English and Arabic is preferable.
