Overall Purpose of the Role

To manage, monitor, and enhance the efficiency of logistics operations across the region, ensuring timely inbound and outbound shipments, accurate inventory records, and full compliance with trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize daily inbound and outbound shipment schedules to meet delivery timelines and customer expectations.
  • Perform physical inventory checks and reconcile with ERP system data.
  • Investigate and resolve ERP-related errors; implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate material movement with warehouse, freight forwarders, brokers, and customers.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and legalization of dispatch documents when required.
  • Manage international shipments and compliance with customs regulations.
  • Ensure labeling and handling of materials complies with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Request and manage certificates such as SABER, KUCAS, SONCAP, and permits like CITC and CMC.
  • Issue Certificates of Origin from the Chamber of Commerce.
  • Prepare internal and external summary logistics reports.
  • Maintain accurate archives of all logistics and customs documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to regional supply chain security and trade compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency in stock areas.
  • Participate in logistics and compliance training programs.
  • Serve as escalation point for logistics compliance and regulatory queries.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)
  • Logistics certification (preferred)

Experience:

  • 4–5 years of experience in Import/Export, Logistics, and Trade Compliance
  • Strong knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and compliance procedures
  • Familiarity with INCOTERMS and IATA regulations for dangerous goods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Strong English communication (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Action-oriented and results-driven
  • Capable of working independently and collaborating across departments
