Logistic Officer Jobs in Dubai at Classic Home Furniture Factory
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to manage and coordinate the movement of materials, furniture, joinery items, equipment, and project-related deliveries between suppliers, warehouse, factory, and project sites.
The ideal candidate should have experience in interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, construction, or contracting, with good knowledge of local and international logistics, delivery coordination, documentation, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily deliveries and collections between suppliers, warehouse, factory, and project sites.
- Manage local and international shipping for all projects.
- Prepare and monitor delivery schedules (locally and internationally) according to project requirements.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Drivers, and Site Supervisors.
- Arrange transportation internationally and locally for joinery, loose furniture, materials, equipment, and tools.
- Ensure materials reach project sites safely and on time.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities.
- Prepare delivery notes, gate passes, material transfer documents, and other logistics documentation.
- Track company vehicles, drivers, and delivery movements.
- Monitor vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, registration, and insurance requirements.
- Coordinate with site teams regarding access, delivery timings, parking, loading/unloading areas, and site restrictions.
- Ensure proper protection and handling of finished joinery and furniture during transportation.
- Follow up on urgent and project-critical deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, vehicle movements, and transportation costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding pickup and delivery arrangements.
- Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, damages, and other logistics-related problems.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, UAE traffic regulations, and project/site safety requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably in interior fit-out, joinery, furniture, or construction.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads, industrial areas, warehouses, and major project locations.
- Experience coordinating drivers, vehicles, deliveries, and site access.
- Good knowledge of delivery documentation and logistics procedures.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
Pay: AED3,000.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
