Job Description
Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock levels to prevent shortages and excess stock.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations.
Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to arrange pickups and deliveries.
Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and export declarations.
Monitor transportation costs, negotiate rates with carriers, and track expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation regulations, and inventory management.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or supply chain management.
Demonstrated success in managing logistics operations and coordinating shipments.
Experience working with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse facilities.
Familiarity with international shipping, customs procedures, and trade compliance regulations
