Registered Manager (Ofsted)  Children’s Residential Home  South Croydon
NEW SERVICE  Salary: 40-50k  We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced OFSTED Registered Manager to launch their 4-bed Children’s home in South Croydon. The client has been providing other care services since 2019 and this is their first Residential Children’s Home.  The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager, known to Ofsted within the last 5 years and someone who has achieved a minimum rating of Good.
The service is a developing therapeutic community which shall bring both children and adults to work closely together to create a safe, homely, and nurturing environment. Specialising in caring for children who have suffered some sort of trauma in their early years, such as sexual, physical, or emotional abuse or neglect. Many of our children present with a variety of behavioural problems, such as Conduct and Attachment Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sexualised behaviour, and special needs such as moderate learning difficulties.

Requirements  Minimum of 5 years residential experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level in the last 5 years.  2 years managerial experience in a Children’s residential home.  QCF level 5 in
leadership
and management in children’s residential or be 50% through working towards this. Â Sound knowledge of governing legislation, procedures, and best practices in caring for looked after children.
Willingness to
increase knowledge through ongoing training.
