Lead Business Area Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a global or local business leader. Each day, you will be responsible for commercial (sales and marketing) activities and portfolio management. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining
research and development
oversight. The work model for the role is: {onsite}. This role is contributing to the {Motion} in {Qatar}. You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the Global Business Area strategy as well as divisions strategies in the countries within the area of responsibility.
Providing input to Global Division and BA Performance targets.
Ensuring achievement of established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Delivering operational/project targets to ensure customer satisfaction and improve net promoter score (NPS).
Leading and managing the production units as allocated by the Business Area and implementing local plans to achieve targets.
Improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with Business Areas/Divisions strategy.
Executing the sourcing strategy in line with Business Area and Division strategies and processes.
Managing all local SCM requirements to meet targets.
Strategizing & leading all marketing and sales activities within the local unit and allocated markets.
Cross-boarders collaboration with all stakeholders in MO Business and Divisions to ensure business is well positioned for sales growth.
Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution.
Sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Qualifications for the role
B.Sc in Electrical, Electronic or Industrial Engineering.
Strategic P&L knowledge and management skills.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience with proven track record in leadership positions with P&L responsibility.
Strategic planning and execution capacity to drive business growth.
Strong background in service business and ability to lead service operations.
Strong inclusiveleadership profile and skill set.
Strong experience in performance management for sizable and diverse teams.
Growth mindset and ability to lead sizable and diverse teams in challenging conditions.
Solid experience in multinational organizations and multicultural business environments.
Strong background in Automation and Motion business.
Excellent market knowledge and sharp business development skills.
People management skills with the ability to develop people to the best of their ability.
