What We’re Looking For At least 4 years of system administration experience
Comprehensive knowledge of Linux environments such as Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, etc.
Expertise in server setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience with
scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar for automation
Knowledge of networking and basic security concepts including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls
Experience with
monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus Proficiency in database management and backup processes for MySQL, Postgre
SQL, etc.
Strong
problem-solving skills
in a
fast-paced
,
collaborative environment
Bonus Points Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., KVM, Docker)
Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
We are specifically focused on traditional Linux system administration and do not require experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Candidates with a primary focus on cloud platforms may not be considered for this role.
