We are looking for a dependable and organized Linen Runner to join our team. The Linen Runner is responsible for delivering clean linens and uniforms to designated areas, collecting soiled linens, maintaining linen inventory, and ensuring departments have an adequate supply of clean linen to support daily operations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items to assigned departments or guest areas.
- Collect soiled linens and transport them safely to the laundry facility.
- Maintain appropriate linen stock levels in storage rooms and designated locations.
- Organize and replenish linen closets according to established standards.
- Inspect linens for damage or excessive wear and report items that need replacement.
- Accurately record linen distribution and inventory as required.
- Follow proper infection control, hygiene, and safety procedures.
- Assist the laundry department with sorting, folding, or other tasks during busy periods.
- Keep carts, storage rooms, and work areas clean and organized.
- Report equipment issues, shortages, or operational concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, laundry, or a similar support role is an advantage but not required.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
