Job Purpose:
The Limit Control Senior Officer is responsible for ensuring that all credit, and operational activities within the organization remain within approved risk limits. The role holder will play a key role in risk management team by monitoring limit usage, identifying breaches, escalating exceptions, and supporting the implementation of risk frameworks and policies.
Core Responsibilities:
Monitoring overdrawn accounts related to each region.
Reviewing client’s documentations before & after signing, with standard texts as a maker & with credit application.
Reviewing the credit application as a maker for related clients.
Reviewing all limits as a maker for related clients.
Make the necessary lodgment and keep in the fireproof safe cabinets.
Monitoring shares coverage on a daily basis.
Doing all necessary follow-up includes (cancel the expired limit, incomplete documents).
Preparing reports e.g. deferral, covenants, restructure / rollover, endorsement of insurance policy, promissory note, permanent and temporary release of the securities, assets, Kafala & facility expiry report for specific region.
Qualification & Years, Nature of Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Business Management or a relevant major.
Minimum 3 years prior working experience in administration, preferably in banking or similar financial institution.
Prior experience in Credit Administration and control or a relevant field.
