Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Patient Coordinator at I Smile Dental Center. The Patient Coordinator will be responsible for performing receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, utilizing medical terminology and optimizing patient experience.
Qualifications
Excellent phone etiquette skills
Proficient in Arabic and English language
Experience performing receptionist duties
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in dental office or healthcare industry is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
Ability to work in a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Relevant Skills:
Patient Experience Optimization: Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing a seamless and positive experience throughout their care journey.
Patient Education: Provide patients with clear and comprehensive information regarding treatments, procedures, and follow-up care to ensure understanding.
Medical Terminology: Patient Coordinator should have knowledge and proficiency in using medical terminology to communicate with clinicians and patients.
Medical Office Management: Patient Coordinator should have experience in managing the day-to-day operations of a medical office including patient scheduling and managing medical records.
Insurance Verification & Billing: Verify patient insurance details, process claims, and coordinate with insurance providers to resolve billing issues.
Communication & Team Collaboration: Collaborate with dental professionals and other departments to ensure smooth coordination of patient care and timely flow of information.
Follow-up and Reminders: Ensure patients receive timely appointment reminders and follow-up calls for reschedules or missed appointments.
Problem-Solving & Support: Address patient concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
