Gulf Engineering & consultants is a leading engineering consultancy firm committed to excellence in project delivery. With a strong presence in DUBAI, We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of our high rise building projects.
As a Civil Inspector, you will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting construction activities on projects in DUBAI. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in civil engineering, along with proven experience in project inspection, particularly in the DUBAI region.
Your new role, what’s involved?
Inspection and Compliance: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that construction activities adhere to project specifications, approved drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
Quality Control: Monitor and assess the quality of workmanship, materials, and construction methods to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate inspection records, including daily reports, photos, and any deviations from project specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve any issues related to construction quality and compliance.
Consultancy Experience: Apply your consultancy background to provide valuable insights and recommendations for optimizing construction processes.
Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety regulations on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel.
Testing and Validation: Oversee material testing processes and coordinate with laboratories to validate the quality of construction materials used in the projects.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on construction progress, highlighting any deviations or potential risks to project timelines.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as a Civil Inspector on high rise building projects.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control processes.
Familiarity with DUBAI construction regulations and experience working on projects within the region.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in inspection documentation.
