Job Summary
The Light Commercial Vehicle Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth, competitiveness, and profitability of the Light Commercial Vehicle business across all brands in the Middle East. This position oversees product portfolio management, market development, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency while ensuring alignment with brand positioning and regional business goals. The role plays a critical part in supporting mid-term planning, leading cross-functional initiatives, and enhancing the overall customer value proposition through improved Total Cost of Ownership. As the key stakeholder for the commercial vehicle business, the Light Commercial Vehicle Manager will provide strategic insights, lead new product initiatives, and work closely with senior management to ensure long-term sustainable success.
Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on business performance, ensuring achievement of sales, revenue, and service targets in the Middle East
- Manage the Light Commercial Vehicle portfolio, including the development of a mid-term diversification strategy to minimize brand overlap and internal competition.
- Establish and control short and mid-term volume planning and in-depth performance analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate new business development initiatives, identifying opportunities across all Light Commercial Vehicle brands in the Middle East.
- Establish and run Stellantis Middle East Light Commercial Vehicle Committee, as Secretary General, and manage coordination with Global Light Commercial Vehicle Teams.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market dynamics, and operational efficiency, offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
- Ensure market competitiveness through regular meetings with Brand & Sales teams, with respect to product, pricing, maintenance costs, parts pricing, and residual values to ensure a strong Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) proposition.
- Optimize operational processes within General Distributor commercial vehicle business unit to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve profitability.
- Secure the development & timely launch of new Light Commercial Vehicle products and support the respective Brand Team’s lifecycle management of new Light Commercial Vehicle products and services, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.
- Support the Light Commercial Vehicle Objectives, optimizing spend and profit to achieve Commercial & Financial Targets
Technical Skills
- University Degree in Business Management/Sales & Marketing (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years experience in commercial vehicle or automotive industry, with at least 5 years in a product, strategy, or leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing multi-brand product portfolios and developing market entry or diversification strategies.
- Strong understanding of the Middle East automotive market dynamics, including customer behavior, competition, and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and business performance management.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Language: English, Arabic (Advantage)
