- Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities at site.
- Ensure lifting operations are carried out safely in accordance with approved lifting plans, procedures, and client requirements.
- Conduct pre-lift meetings, toolbox talks, and verify lifting equipment before use.
- Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, supervisors, and HSE personnel during lifting activities.
- Ensure cranes, lifting gears, slings, shackles, and related equipment have valid inspection and certification.
- Monitor critical and non-critical lifting operations and ensure compliance with PTW and site safety procedures.
- Identify lifting hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
- Maintain lifting records, checklists, permits, and inspection documentation.
Requirements Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lifting Supervisor, preferably in Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven hands-on experience in lifting and rigging operations within industrial or Oil & Gas environments.
- Valid Lifting Supervisor certification from a recognized authority.
- Strong knowledge of lifting plans, crane operations, rigging practices, load calculations, and lifting equipment.
- Good understanding of PTW, JSA, toolbox talks, and HSE requirements.
- Ability to read lifting plans and coordinate complex lifting activities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Previous Ras Laffan / Oil & Gas site experience will be an advantage.
- Must be available to join immediately with a valid QID.
