Lifting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Lifting Supervisor (Appointed Person) to plan, supervise, and execute lifting operations safely and efficiently on major infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and execute lifting operations in compliance with safety standards
- Review and approve lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, engineers, and site teams
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and lifting safety standards
- Verify certification and inspection status of cranes and rigging equipment
- Conduct toolbox talks and pre-lift meetings
- Maintain records and prepare reports on lifting activities
Requirements
- Engineering Degree or Postgraduate Diploma (Mechanical/Civil preferred)
- Valid International Lifting / Rigging Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations (including 3 years in a similar role)
- Strong knowledge of lifting plans, site calculations, and risk assessments
- Experience in Oil & Gas or major construction projects
- QatarEnergy approval is an advantage
- LEEA certification is needed

- Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance and project requirements)
