We are currently recruiting for a Lift Technician (lift Electrical, T&C works) for our client to be based out of their Dubai office.
Purpose-
To install and erect machine room and machine room less (MRL) elevators & Escalators, to ensure compliance with safety standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and conduct regular inspections.
Responsibility-
- Electrical work technician, (such as wiring, adjusting of shaft and car door, load testing, fixing shaft accessories …etc).
- Complete Machine, controller and ARD wiring.
- Hoist way and travelling cable wiring and connections
- Hoist way connections from top to bottom of the pit and intercom wiring.
- Setting out of limit switches, levelling plate, safety switches, door safety edges etc.
- Load test, cabin balancing.
- Door alignment
- Low speed & High-speed testing
- Knowledge of all electrical component fixture.
- Sr Technicians T&C should have all the above knowledge with trouble shooting skills, read electrical drawing, use service tools, assist third party inspections and complete the works with quality standards to handover to the client .
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, including electrical problems, and implement effective solutions to improve productivity of the team.
- Know how to use testing devices such as multi-meter, Megger and elevator service tool.
- Able to read and understand the electrical wiring diagram and familiar with the fault findings principals & allocating the malfunction component e.g., brakes, motors, switches, signals and control systems using test equipment’s.
- Carry out final adjustments, testing and commissioning, site preparation up to final handing over including
Skills-
- Higher Secondary from an accredited school, Diploma in technical course in electrical or vocational course related to Elevators and Escalators Works.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician in electrical works, 5ys Experience for Sr. Technician in a similar industry in Elevators & Escalators Field
- Analytical and Technical knowledge Proactive and result oriented.
- Speaking and writing intermediate English.
