Hiring an enthusiastic, organized, and student-centered professional to join our team. The successful candidate will foster a love of reading, manage the school library, support research and inquiry‑based learning, and promote information and digital literacy across the American Curriculum.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science, Library Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a school library (UAE experience preferred).
- Experience working in American Curriculum schools is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of library management systems, cataloguing, and digital resources.
- Ability to organize reading initiatives, book fairs, and literacy events.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible for ADEK Staff Eligibility under the current policy.
- Valid attested academic qualifications and experience certificates as required by ADEK.
Preferred
- Experience managing both physical and digital library collections.
- Knowledge of children’s and young adult literature.
- Experience promoting reading programs and supporting classroom research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and educational technology platforms.
