Position Librarian
Location Ajman UAE
We are hiring a Librarian to join our team at our library in Ajman The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and knowledge and possess excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the library collection by cataloging shelving and organizing books and other materials
- Assist library patrons with finding resources and provide information services
- Develop and implement library programs activities and events to promote reading and learning
- Maintain library records including circulation statistics book inventory and patron information
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop a diverse collection of materials for all ages
- Keep up-to-date with new technology and trends in the library field
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field
- Preferably Nepali or Kenyan nationalities
- Experience working in a library setting is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$
