Reporting to the MD, this is a pivotal legal position responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance, governance, contractual, and dispute-related matters across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the principal legal advisor to the business, providing strategic and operational legal guidance to senior management.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a broad range of commercial contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documentation.
- Leading all litigation, disputes, arbitration matters, and relationships with external legal counsel.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal policies.
- Identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks while supporting business growth, operational decision-making, and cross-functional initiatives.

- A Bachelor's Degree in Law and a minimum of 7 years' experience gained within private practice, in-house legal functions, or a combination of both.

- Proven capability managing litigation, disputes, arbitration processes, and external legal advisors.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to advise senior leadership.
- Experience within operational environments such as construction, facilities management, engineering, infrastructure, or similarly operational environments.
