Legal Counsel Jobs in An Nuzhah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at Silk Road Gold Exploration
We are seeking a qualified and commercially minded Legal Counsel to support our company’s operations and expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, regulatory, licensing, employment, and general operational matters, while ensuring the company’s activities remain compliant with applicable Saudi laws and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Advise management on Saudi corporate, commercial, regulatory, labour, and administrative laws.
· Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, corporate documents, legal correspondence, and internal policies.
· Support company formation, licensing, permits, registrations, and interactions with governmental and regulatory authorities.
· Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the company’s activities.
· Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
· Coordinate with external legal advisers, government authorities, business partners, and other stakeholders.
· Support corporate governance, compliance, and internal approval processes.
· Provide legal assistance in relation to disputes, claims, and regulatory matters when required.
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university.
· At least two years of relevant professional legal experience.
· Strong and practical knowledge of Saudi Arabian laws, regulations, governmental procedures, and regulatory practices.
· Excellent command of Arabic and English, with strong legal drafting, communication, and negotiation skills in both languages.
· Ability to independently review and prepare legal and corporate documentation.
· Strong analytical skills, professional judgement, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple assignments.
· High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
· Previous experience in a law firm, multinational company, mining, industrial, construction, investment, or other regulated sector.
· Experience dealing with Saudi governmental authorities and electronic regulatory platforms.
· Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
· Professional legal qualification or eligibility to practise law in Saudi Arabia will be an advantage.
