FERRARI SECURITY AND VAULTING DMCC Dubai, United Arab Emirates We are seeking an experienced Legal & Compliance Officer to oversee our corporate legal matters and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role involves providing strategic legal counsel, managing compliance programs, mitigating risks, and coordinating with headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and
legal compliance
frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Strategy & Counsel:
Provide strategic legal advice to management.
Anticipate and mitigate potential legal risks within the company.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.
Coordinate with HQ on legal matters.
Compliance Management:
Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment, taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
Identify and manage legal risks, including litigation and regulatory risks.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate identified risks.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all legal and compliance matters.
Corporate Governance:
Ensure a robust corporate governance framework compliant with regulatory requirements.
Advise the Director on corporate governance best practices.
External Relations:
Manage relationships with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and other formal settings.
Regularly update and liaise with other departments on compliance requirements and regulatory changes.
Qualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM) or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate legal or compliance role.
Strong knowledge of corporate law, risk management, and
regulatory compliance
.
Experience working with external legal counsel and government authorities.
Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
