Responsibilities:
Conducting legal procedures and automating legal processes, including business contracts, employment, documentation, and managing company records.
Keep track of and manage all legal risks associated with commercial agreements.
Provide legal and strategic advice to other business units.
Ensure to implement the Worker’s Compensation System according to the Saudi laws and company policies.
Attend company’s meetings and offer legal insight.
Exhibit legal issues and regulations knowledge on financial operations.
Manage the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of contracts, subcontracts, legally direct procedures, and letters.
Manage the contract management process and document management.
Identify and communicate all contract-related information to stakeholders.
Manage the company’s annual filing processes.
Draft, review, and advise on various forms of memorandums of understanding, joint-venture agreements, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, mobility and logistics agreements, sale and purchase agreements, consultancy agreements, licensing agreements, novation agreements, call off agreements, cooperation agreements, facilities management agreements, supply agreements, guarantees, amendment agreements, assignment agreements and all other types of commercial agreements.
Advise on legal issues arising from projects in regard to scheduling, coordinating and interfacing between the company and appointed contractors.
Provide support to all divisions of the legal, PPP project teams, Operations teams, and commercial/procurement departments during all phases of corporate projects.
Provide day-to-day legal advice and support on commercial and legal risk in order to identify, contain and manage exposure and risk to the client company.
Liaising and collaborating effectively with various internal departments and providing day-to-day guidance and interpretation on legal, compliance, commercial and business risks whilst maintaining a proactive and pragmatic approach to delivering the objectives of the Project.
Developing and delivering training for employees on contracts and compliance topics.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 8 years of legal field experience in a large commercial group in either a multinational or large local organization.
You will hold a recognized legal qualification and will be recognized by the legal bodies in the Kingdom.
You have spent at least 5 years in a company within Saudi/ GCC.
Demonstrable experience of being able to identify, assess and priorities risks with sound commercial awareness.
Can work to deadlines and to manage competing demands from various stakeholders.
Experience of communicating with people at all levels from hands-on operational work forces to board level.
Strong work ethic.
