Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Legal Affairs Senior Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s legal affairs function. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing litigation, legal disputes, contracts, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal risk management while ensuring the organization operates in full compliance with Saudi laws and regulations.

This role requires a strategic legal leader with extensive experience in Saudi legal practices, court representation, regulatory matters, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Risk Management

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to senior management on legal, regulatory, compliance, and governance matters.
  • Assess legal risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies to protect the organization’s interests.
  • Support strategic business initiatives, partnerships, and projects through legal analysis and risk assessments.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Manage and oversee all legal cases, claims, disputes, investigations, and litigation involving the organization.
  • Represent and coordinate the organization’s legal matters before courts, judicial committees, governmental authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Handle labor disputes, commercial claims, contractual disputes, and regulatory investigations.
  • Monitor litigation progress and provide regular updates to management.

Contracts & Legal Documentation

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and approve contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documents.
  • Ensure contractual arrangements are legally sound and aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide legal support during negotiations and commercial transactions.

Compliance & Corporate Governance

  • Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, labor regulations, commercial laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Strengthen legal compliance and risk management practices across the organization.

External Counsel & Regulatory Affairs

  • Manage relationships with external law firms and legal consultants.
  • Monitor performance and effectiveness of external legal service providers.
  • Liaise with governmental authorities and regulatory bodies on legal and compliance matters.

Investigations & Reporting

  • Lead investigations related to legal violations, disputes, and regulatory matters.
  • Prepare legal reports, case updates, risk assessments, and executive summaries for senior management and the CEO.
  • Provide recommendations and corrective actions based on investigation findings.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Legal Affairs team.
  • Establish performance objectives and ensure effective legal support across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of legal compliance, ethical conduct, and risk awareness.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage legal budgets, litigation expenses, and external legal service costs.
  • Ensure cost-effective utilization of legal resources and services.
