Bin Dawood Holding is seeking a qualified and business-oriented Legal Advisor to join its Legal Department. The successful candidate will provide legal support across the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the company’s commercial, corporate, and contractual activities.
We welcome applications from candidates with in-house corporate legal experience, as well as lawyers currently working in law firms who are interested in transitioning into a corporate legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, agreements and legal documents.
- Provide practical legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate and commercial matters.
- Support the company’s corporate governance, compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Review and assess legal risks associated with business operations and transactions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities, and government entities when required.
- Support legal projects and initiatives across various business functions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience.
- Experience in corporate, commercial or contracts law.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation and legal advisory skills.
- Excellent command of both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with in a corporate legal department.
- Experience supporting retail, FMCG, or diversified business groups.
- Lawyers currently working in private practice who are interested in moving to an in-house legal role are encouraged to apply.
