We are looking for a skilled Leather Repair & Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in repairing, restoring, cleaning, and refinishing leather products while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair leather products, including handbags, shoes, wallets, belts, jackets, furniture, and other leather goods.
- Restore damaged leather by fixing scratches, tears, cracks, fading, and discoloration.
- Perform leather cleaning, conditioning, polishing, and finishing.
- Match and apply leather dyes and finishes to achieve seamless repairs.
- Carry out stitching, patching, gluing, and hardware replacement when required.
- Inspect items before and after repair to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized workspace.
- Follow company procedures and meet repair turnaround times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in leather repair, restoration, or shoe repair.
- Strong knowledge of different types of leather and repair techniques.
- Experience with leather dyes, adhesives, stitching, and finishing products.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and a positive work ethic.
Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
