Key Responsibilities in Property Leasing Management
Oversee all leasing activities, including tenant screenings, lease negotiations, and renewals to ensure occupancy targets are met.
Manage the leasing team to deliver high-quality customer service and tenant support.
Develop and implement strategies to market available properties effectively and attract prospective tenants.
Ensure compliance with local housing laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property leasing best practices.
Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant issues and coordinate maintenance requests promptly.
Prepare and analyse leasing reports to identify trends and propose strategic improvements to leasing operations.
Maintain accurate leasing records and documentation, utilising leasing and property management software.
Build and maintain relationships with real estate brokers and other industry professionals to support leasing objectives.
Essential Skills And Qualifications For Property Leasing
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of experience in property leasing or a related field, with a proven track record of meeting leasing goals.
Strong understanding of lease agreements, tenant rights, and property management principles.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service and tenant relations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with property management software and tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience And Attributes In Leasing Management
Experience in managing a property leasing team or supervising leasing activities.
Familiarity with current marketing techniques and strategies for promoting properties.
