Learning Support Assistant Jobs in Dubai at Dubai International Academy
1.Ensure all airline equipment is ordered at the right time and in the right quantity based on accurate information, so the new stock is processed and delivered in an efficient manner by the Warewash team.
2.Align planned food deliveries effectively from the food production team to ensure any down time is minimized to meet KPI*s
3.Implementation of delivery schedules to meet agreed KRT*s to flight activities
4.Provide an ongoing daily and weekly plan to meet the dynamic targets for the Operations team
5.Drive optimum allocation of all direct and indirect costs and resources when on shift to ensure that
oAll in-flight catering uplift is ready and is as per agreed specifications.
oAll assigned tasks are carried out on time and in full in the most efficient manner.
6.Manage and supervise the performance of the shifts to ensure operational excellence in delivering high quality products & services to all airlines/internal customers. Promptly resolve issues where there are deviations to the work plan.
7.Lead On Time execution of department*s targets while anticipating last minute increases/requirements and adjustments.
8.Liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all catering uplift requirements and special services are fulfilled on time and in accordance with laid down standards and specifications.
9.Set team objectives and manage the performance, development and motivation of the team by providingregular feedback, mentoring and coaching.
10.Establish clear communication system to create an open culture within team through regular, honest and transparent communication and cross functional collaboration to maximize synergies thereby creating a sense of belongingness. Lead the consistent implementation of Company values and initiatives so that the employees are engaged and duly recognised.
11.Monitor work area to ensure compliance to SOPs and agreed standards and specifications. Ensure compliance to the company and safety systems, procedures & regulations.
12.Conducts safety observations, workplace inspections, risk assessments, workplace consultation, accident and incident investigations and cascades communication to ensure safety.
13.Provide research support and advice to the management team in relation to strategies and planning to meet all flight activities.
Education Qualification:
Diploma or equivalent experience in product assembly
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Extensive experience in a supervisory role (preferably in airport catering services environment)
