Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and detail-oriented Caregiver/House Helper to assist in the daily operations of a private home in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, maintenance, health monitoring, and providing support to ensure a comfortable and functional living environment.

Note: Job location will be in Oman a private house.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Medication Assistance:

Remind and assist with the administration of prescribed medications.
Perform daily health checks such as blood pressure and blood sugar tests according to the doctor’s instructions.
Maintain accurate records of medication schedules and health data.
Ensure safe and proper storage of medications.

House Cleaning and Maintenance:

Perform regular cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
Ensure deep cleaning of high-use areas like the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms.
Maintain cleanliness in all rooms, including common areas, guest rooms, and private spaces.
Organize and declutter spaces to enhance functionality and the home’s overall atmosphere.
Coordinate regular maintenance for household appliances and plumbing.
Handle minor repairs or liaise with contractors for larger maintenance tasks.

Laundry and Wardrobe Management:

Wash, dry, and iron clothing and linens with attention to delicate fabrics.
Organize and store clothing and linens to ensure easy access.
Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.

Grocery Shopping and Kitchen Support:

Manage grocery shopping, keeping track of household supplies and food items.
Keep the kitchen stocked and organized, ensuring it remains clean and functional.
Assist with meal planning and preparation when needed.
Ensure proper storage of food, including perishable and non-perishable items.

Staff Management and Coordination:

Supervise and coordinate the work of other household staff such as cleaners, gardeners, or drivers.
Create and maintain staff work schedules.
Train and guide staff in effective housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations for staff.

Guest and Event Management:

Assist in planning and organizing small household events or gatherings.
Prepare rooms and facilities for guests, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Oversee guest needs and collaborate with other staff to ensure a smooth experience.

Administrative Support and Budgeting:

Track household budgets for groceries, maintenance, and other expenses.
Prepare expense reports and ensure the budget is adhered to.
Maintain household records, such as inventories, maintenance logs, and health records.
Handle correspondence or appointments related to household affairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a caregiving or house helper role, or similar positions.
Knowledge of household management, cleaning, and maintenance.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Familiarity with health and safety standards.
Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic cooking and meal preparation skills are an asset.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling household matters.
CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with flexible hours.
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on household needs.
Ability to manage household tasks independently.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary: 1600 to 2000 AED
Benefits include Visa, Food, Accommodation, and Transport as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: AED1,600.00 – AED2,000.00 per month
