Role Summary:
The Manager, Learning and Development is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development programs. This role ensures that all training initiatives support the organizational goals and employee growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy.
Lead and manage the learning and development team, providing guidance and professional development.
Collaborate with senior management to identify training needs and align programs with business objectives.
Design and oversee the delivery of training programs, workshops, and seminars.
Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback.
Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into training programs.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all training activities.
Develop partnerships with external training providers and educational institutions.
Prepare and present reports on learning and development activities and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, or related field
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years in managing training programs; including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Professional certifications related to the role are preferred, such as CTDP, CPTM certifications
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in instructional design and adult learning principles
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze training needs and design effective programs
