About the role :
Responsible for all aspects of the control systems, servers, computers, computer network, and communication and electronics equipment within the Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and the Hold Baggage Screening Systems (HBSS), including data interfaces to other systems (such as BRS, DCS, CUTE, AODB, BRS, and BI Database). Responsible for ensuring appropriate technical maintenance and project activities related to BHS and HBSS. Accountable for providing leadership and guidance to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor and the BHS & HBSS maintenance team to ensure system performance, security, and availability.
Key responsibilities :
Ensure cybersecurity, maintenance, enhancement, optimization, and project activities for BHS and HBSS Control Systems (HLC & LLC) are performed timely and cost-effectively, including budget estimates and development of TOR and specifications.
Serve as a subject matter expert in IT/OT, Cybersecurity, and control systems (HLC & LLC) of BHS and HBSS with advanced knowledge of systems and technology.
Provide leadership and guidance to the O&M Contractors, BHS & HBSS technical team, and project team related to IT/OT, Cybersecurity, and control systems, including writing and auditing cybersecurity policies and SOPs.
Manage expansion projects related to IT/OT and control systems of BHS & HBSS at DIA and HIA.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, preferably in Computer Engineering, Industrial Control Systems, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. A Master’s Degree in a related field is highly advantageous.
Minimum 2 years of supporting experience in Airport/ Airline IT/OT systems.
Minimum 1 year of experience in implementing OT Cybersecurity in critical operations, or in the design, installation, QA/QC, T&C, and/or O&M of HLC in an Automatic Sortation BHS with inline HBSS of 4,800 BPH or higher.
Advanced knowledge of modern industrial server and network architecture, including cybersecurity regulations and industry best practices.
Excellent written and spoken English skills; capable of writing SOPs, TORs, technical specifications, and contract documents. Able to provide training and conduct quality audits.
Cybersecurity credentials and at least 1 year of experience in Cybersecurity Management are highly advantageous.
Project Management credentials such as PMP by PMI or a project management degree/diploma, with experience as a Project Manager or Engineer on projects of USD 1M or larger related to BHS/IT infrastructure, are highly advantageous.
