Lead System Analyst – HBSS & BHS Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Qatar Duty Free

About the role :
Responsible for all aspects of the control systems, servers, computers, computer network, and communication and electronics equipment within the Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and the Hold Baggage Screening Systems (HBSS), including data interfaces to other systems (such as BRS, DCS, CUTE, AODB, BRS, and BIB Database). Responsible for ensuring appropriate technical maintenance and project activities related to BHS and HBSS. Accountable for providing leadership and guidance to the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractor and the BHS & HBSS maintenance team to ensure system performance, security, and availability.
Key responsibilities :
Ensure cybersecurity, maintenance, enhancement, optimization, and project activities for BHS and HBSS Control Systems (HLC & LLC) are performed timely with cost-effective solutions, including budget estimates and development of TOR and specifications.
Serve as a subject matter expert in IT / OT, Cyber Security, and control systems (HLC & LLC) of BHS and HBSS, with advanced knowledge of systems and technology.
Provide leadership and guidance to O&M Contractors, BHS & HBSS technical teams, and project teams regarding IT / OT, cybersecurity, and control systems. This includes writing and auditing cybersecurity policies, SOPs, etc.
Manage expansion projects related to IT / OT and control systems of BHS & HBSS at DIA and HIA.
Qualifications :
About you :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering is mandatory, preferably in Computer Engineering, Industrial Control Systems, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. A Master’s degree in a related field is highly advantageous.
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Airport / Airline IT / OT systems.
At least 1 year of experience in implementing OT Cybersecurity in critical operations or in the design, installation, QA/QC, testing & commissioning, and/or O&M of HLC for an Automatic Sortation BHS with inline HBSS of 4,800 BPH or higher.
Advanced knowledge of modern industrial server and network architecture, including cybersecurity regulations and industry best practices.
Excellent written and spoken English skills, capable of writing SOPs, TORs, technical specifications, and contract documents. Capable of providing training and conducting quality system audits.
Cybersecurity credentials and at least 1 year in Cybersecurity Management are highly advantageous.
Project management credentials such as PMP or related degree/diploma, with experience as a project manager or engineer for projects of USD 1M or larger in BHS / IT infrastructure are highly advantageous.
