Lead Structural Design Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at Trust Engineering Consultancy
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar with at least 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading structural design projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards, and coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead the structural design process for diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with Qatari and international codes (QCS, BS, ACI, Eurocodes).
Oversee the preparation of structural drawings, reports, and specifications.
Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Review and approve design documentation, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Conduct value engineering assessments to optimize structural solutions.
Support project management teams in design approvals, site supervision, and technical discussions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
Grade A MMUP (UPDA) certification is preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in structural design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit Structure, and other structural analysis software.
Strong knowledge of Qatar building codes and international design standards (BS, ACI, Eurocodes, etc.).
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
