Position: Lead/ Sr Project Manager (Offshore Projects)
Job Responsibilities
Bachelors Degree in Electrical & Instrument Engineering.
Offshore Projects experience is mandatory.
20 years experience for EPC projects, of which at least 10 years as the Project Manager for offshore projects.
GCC experience preferred.
Ability to develop Projects Execution strategy, Profit Plan, and objectives to ensure efficient and effective implementation, aligned with Policies, overall business strategy, and objectives.
Technical competency in the subject matter of the Project to manage the implications oftechnical challengesand selection of key project team members.
Capacity to maintain a working knowledge of the projects as part of overall Project accountability and ensure implementation of required corrective actions.
Data analytics focused in support of tracking and trending of all Project Performances.
Ability to assist Project Managers inproblem-solvingandconflict resolution.
Ability to provide recommendations to the Operations group in the development of policies and procedures as part of thecontinuous improvementprocess.
Ability to understand and communicate the link between the Projects and corporate needs.
Champion implementation and adherence to Processes, Procedures, and tools for the Projects.
Ability to strategize and foresee potential issues.
Knowledgeable/insight into work planning, schedule, cost controls, risk management, progress measurement, and forecasting to drive the Projects and its financial performance.
Digital transformationfocused – Demand organizations support with digital solutions on the projects as part ofinnovationandcontinuous improvementprocesses.
Understanding of EPC contracts and contracting strategies with the ability to communicate contract requirements to the Project Teams.
Ability to empower and empathize with team members.
Responsible for foreseeing project opportunities and issues and adjusting strategies to embrace or mitigate them.
Has bottom-line accountability for the financial and technical success of the projects or area of project responsibility.
Responsible for the pursuit, capture, and management of all phases of medium and/or complex projects.
Accountable for the financial and technical success of the project, leading Project and/or Discipline Managers to achieve project objectives.
Manage Lump Sum Turnkey EPC/EPCI and Shutdowns Projects in the range of $20m to $800m (typical).
EPFC Phase – Responsible for all matters pertaining to the project and project execution in accordance with the contract and the projects HSE, project security, quality, schedule, and financial goals.
Accountable to Operations Manager management and the client for Client team performance.
Front all newly awarded projects until a permanent Project Manager is assigned.
Develop newly awarded project deliverables for all stakeholders/departments.
Maintain the authority to direct the Project Team within the bounds of policy and engageSenior Managementfor resolution of project issues and conflicts.
May be assigned during the Precontract phase to manage the preparation of the Proposal in coordination with the Commercial team.
During the Proposal phase, responsible for oversight of the Estimate preparation, associated support documentation, preparation of Bid and Project execution strategy, and lead the Risk and Opportunity management program.
