About The Role
We are pleased to announce an incrediblyexcitingopportunity to join our Aircraft Technical Division as Lead Legal Administration Officer.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing contracts and legal document administration – required to manage records and update all concerned parties on progress. Manage the consolidation of comments from all stakeholders and facilitate the signature processes. Responsible for updating contract and legal document templates, along with guidance notes and checklists, for the Aircraft Technical Division to serve the wider Group, on the instruction of the lawyers in the department.
Maintaining confidentiality among the executive-level team and representing the organisation to other businesses at theexecutive level.
Accountabilities
Reviews contracts and provides input on the commercial and legal risks.
Plans, organizes and accomplishes contracting functions liaising closely with external parties and internal user departments.
Prepare amendments to contracts for review by the Line Manager. Create and update contracts via Contracts Approval System as instructed. Collate suggested changes to templates, checklists and guidance notes and propose amendments to Line Manager.
Review all existing contracts in a systematic manner, supporting audits with the relevant stakeholders on all internal processes ensuring compliance with the company/regulatory standards.
Responds to queries and requests for information and assistance from internal stakeholders directed towards Aircraft Technical team. Participates in developing Aircraft Technical’s internal way of working.
Responsible to monitor system-organisation accuracy of physical and digital records.
Create standards and guidelines for the review of existing and new contracts in Aircraft Technical.
Ensures that the standards, processes and tools as defined by the company are in place and maintained.
Monitor compliance with relevant policies and procedures and sound business practices and provide guidance / interventions / escalate concerns when required.
Assess the system of internal controls within the company to recommend and implement improvements.
Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Line Manager and the Head of the Department.
Review, develop, recommend and implement improvements.
Liaise with the management and contribute to the development and follow up of departmental projects.
Essential
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Effective at managing working relationships.
Ability to proofread outgoing documents with a high level of accuracy.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
High level of sensitivity andprofessionalism.
Demonstrable planning skills and strongattention to detail.
Preferred
Law educational background.
Experience in managing aircraft technical contracts related to aircraft finance, maintenance, leasing, etc.
Familiar with English law contracts.
Proficiency in languages like Chinese or Arabic.
