About Us:
PSA Academy is one of the UAE’s leading multi-sport youth academies, established in 2014 and serving over 3,000 students across Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman. Our gymnastics programme operates across multiple premium venues, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Coach to oversee and grow our offering.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Gymnastics Lead Coach to lead the delivery of our gymnastics programme. The role involves coaching, mentoring junior staff, designing curriculums, conducting assessments, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality across all sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of gymnastics classes for ages 3–16 (recreational and pre-competitive levels).
- Mentor, train, and supervise junior coaches across multiple venues.
- Develop, maintain, and update structured curriculums and progression frameworks.
- Conduct termly level assessments and grading.
- Liaise professionally with parents regarding student progress.
- Ensure safety, safeguarding, and quality standards are upheld at all times.
- Support preparation for internal and external gymnastics competitions.
- Assist with new coach recruitment, onboarding, and training.
Requirements:
- Recognised gymnastics coaching qualification (FIG, British Gymnastics, USAG, or equivalent).
- Minimum 3–5 years of coaching experience, preferably with children and youth.
- Prior leadership or head-coach experience strongly preferred.
- Experience designing curriculums and assessment frameworks.
- Safeguarding and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED5,500.00 – AED6,750.00 per month
