Lead Civil Structural Engineer Jobs in UAE at Ghobash Group
Overallresponsibilities:
Workinglead on assigned project specifically for Civil &Structural but not limited to interface and coordination withsubcontractors and COMPANY.Liaison with
COMPANY / PMC personnel for engineering related mattersconstruction subcontractors and projects teams for varioustechnical issues including sitevisits.
Supervise and monitor the performanceof civil subcontractors review & comment on drawings /deliverables oversee and coordinate with internal team and clientpersonnel for submission of engineering deliverables coordinate andresolve technical issues.
Provide guidance anddirection to other
multidisciplinary
team members for assignedproject.
Assure compliance with engineeringprocedures and
quality control
& HSEstandards.
Supporting construction andcommissioning activities after completion of project home officetasks. Day todayresponsibilities:
Leadand supervise performance of Civil subcontractors and predominantlyfor electrical trenches supports excavation including generalexecution management of civil subcontractor schedule / keyexecution milestones budget andmanpower.
Proactively analyze engineeringrelated issues and recommend correctiveactions.
Prepare field technical proposalsqueries changes requests etc.
Assist Projectteam in preparation of design proposals and providing alternateapproach.
Carry out design content reviewsdrawings including buildability reviews & optionanalysis.
Review shop drawings fieldcalculations and dealing with queries submitted bysubcontractors.
Review method statementsmaterial approval requests and other supporting documents bysubcontractor
Support and liaise with otherstaff in the procurement of materials.
Assistproject team with establishment of project plans schedules andbudgets.
Participate in site visits as requiredfor site surveying and gathering data and important informationrequired to project team.
Participate indevelopment of estimates for engineering works andreviews.
Interface with various engineeringdisciplines and suppliers.
Plan coordinate andprepare Material
Requisition
s Technical Bid Evaluations and awardrecommendations for various equipment with alldisciplines.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural) with (15 Yearsminimum) in the Oil & Gas industry. Affinity and familiarwith Engineering Procurement and Contracting aspects in thebusiness both onshore andoffshore.
