Overview
Laundry Services Lead provides daily oversight of laundry staff, trains new employees, and ensures timely and quality service. The role reports directly to the Laundry Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Oversee laundry facilities and staff (direct and subcontracted).
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with exchange of linen to services members and guests.
- Guide and supervise workers.
- Evaluate services provided and report to Laundry Supervisor.
- Maintain and monitor the production schedule, documentation, and established standards within allowable time limits.
- Report maintenance and service‑related issues and problems.
- Provide data applicable to daily reports needed by leadership.
- Perform other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be an Other Country National (OCN).
- High school diploma preferred.
- Experience as a Laundry Attendant is a plus.
- Custodial background and basic knowledge of hazardous chemicals and their use in the lead’s area of responsibility.
- Ability to communicate and coordinate activities with a multi‑national and culturally diverse workforce.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental issues as they relate to Laundry Facility Support & Management.
- Accustomed to dealing at executive level.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
