Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, pressing, and organizing laundry while ensuring high standards of cleanliness and garment care. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
- Operate commercial washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely.
- Wash, dry, fold, iron, and package laundry according to company standards.
- Inspect linens and garments for stains, damage, or missing items.
- Apply appropriate stain removal techniques when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report inventory needs.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Deliver excellent customer service by handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to operate laundry equipment or willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
