Lathe Machine Operator Jobs in Sharjah at Al dehin
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select the right lathe (manual/CNC), chuck, tools, inserts, and accessories.
- Mount and align workpieces using chucks, faceplates, centers, or steady rests; set zero points and offsets
- Perform turning, facing, boring, drilling, reaming, threading, knurling, grooving, chamfering, and parting‑off as required
- Monitor the cutting process, adjust parameters, and replace worn tools to maintain quality and avoid damage.
- Measure workpieces using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges; check first‑off and in‑process parts against tolerances
- Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance on the lathe and tools.
- Keep the work area clean, manage chips/swarf, and report equipment faults or unsafe conditions.
Pay: AED1,650.00 – AED1,800.00 per month
