Laser Machine Operator Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE at Technology Innovation Institute
Design, develop, and optimize CWand pulsed fiber laser systems for variousapplications.
Conduct experiments and tests inthe lab to characterize and validate laser performance and opticalcomponents.
Collaborate with cross-functionalteams to integrate fiber laser systems into larger optical systemsor products.
Troubleshoot and resolve technicalissues related to fiber lasers and opticalcomponents.
Participate in the design andfabrication of optical fiber components, including but not limitedto couplers, amplifiers, and isolators.
Keepabreast of industry trends and advancements in fiber lasertechnology and optical componentsmanufacturing.
Requirements Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Optics Engineering, Electrical, Physics,or a related field.
5+ years of experience indeveloping CW and pulsed fiber laser systems in industrial orresearch environment
Proficiency in laboratorywork, including experimental design, data analysis, andinstrumentation.
Strong understanding ofoptical principles and optical fibersystems.
Experience with
optical fiber handlingtechniques such as splicing, cleaving, andcoating.
Experience with
fiber componentsmanufacturing (pump combiners, mode field adapters, Fiber Bragg Gratings, tapering, fiber bundle preparation etc.) would be aplus.
Proficiency in relevant software toolsfor laser design and simulation (e.g., MATLAB, COMSOL, Lumerical,RP Photonics) and laboratory automation (e.g.,Lab View)

andattention to details.
Ability to workeffectively in a
team environment
and communicate technicalconcepts clearly.
