- Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities and landscape workers at assigned sites.
- Allocate daily duties and work areas to team members according to the work schedule.
- Ensure proper completion of assigned landscaping tasks within the required timeframe.
- Monitor plant health, lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscape areas.
- Ensure proper watering and irrigation of plants and landscaped areas.
- Inspect irrigation systems and report leaks, blockages, damaged sprinklers, and other issues.
- Supervise mowing, trimming, pruning, edging, planting, weeding, and fertilization activities.
- Ensure removal of dry leaves, weeds, debris, and unwanted vegetation from landscaped areas.
- Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of gardens, walkways, terraces, and other outdoor areas.
- Ensure landscaping works are carried out according to client requirements and site standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify areas requiring corrective action.
- Report maintenance issues, plant diseases, pest problems, irrigation issues, and other site concerns to the Landscape Engineer or Project Manager.
- Ensure all landscaping tools, machinery, equipment, and materials are used correctly and maintained properly.
- Monitor the availability and proper use of landscaping materials and consumables.
- Ensure workers wear proper uniforms and required PPE while on duty.
- Ensure employees follow company health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and communicate daily work instructions to the team when required.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, productivity, and discipline.
- Prepare or support daily checklists, work reports, photographs, and site updates.
- Coordinate with the Landscape Engineer, Project Manager, Operations Manager, and client representatives.
- Respond promptly to client complaints and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain high standards of landscaping, cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism at all times.
- Ensure guest-facing areas are maintained to the required hotel/resort standards.
- Prevent unauthorized use or wastage of company materials and equipment.
- Report incidents, accidents, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately to management.
- Perform any other landscaping-related duties assigned by management.
- QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma, certificate, or relevant qualification in Landscaping, Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of landscaping experience, preferably with Saudi experience.
- Previous experience in a Landscape Supervisor or Team Leader position is preferred.
- Experience in hotel, resort, commercial, residential, or large-scale landscaping projects is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of landscaping maintenance practices.
- Ability to supervise and manage a multicultural workforce.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work outdoors and under Saudi climatic conditions.
- Driving license is an advantage.
