Key Responsibilities
Cost Management & Quantity Surveying
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings using approved methods of measurement
- Manage cost estimates and forecasts from tender stage through to project completion
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) in line with project drawings and specifications
- Develop rates for non-tendered items and additional scope of works
Payments & Variations
- Prepare and submit monthly payment applications to clients
- Prepare, price, and submit variation orders for approval
- Generate payment certificates, variation statements, and final accounts
Procurement & Subcontracting
- Prepare subcontractor packages for specialized works
- Float enquiries to suppliers and manufacturers
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations
- Assist in finalizing subcontractors within approved budgets
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Prepare cash flow forecasts for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Generate monthly progress and cost reports for management review
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in landscaping or construction industry
- Strong experience in quantity take-offs (mandatory)
- Basic understanding of project management processes
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Good data organization, typing, and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
