Overview
Responsible for planning, designing and overseeing the execution of landscape projects from concept to completion. The Landscape Engineer ensures high‑quality design, effective implementation, and timely delivery of softscape and hardscape works in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Responsibilities:
Prepare landscape design drawings, master plans, detailed layouts, and technical specifications. Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost‑effective design solutions for softscape and hardscape. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to finalize design concepts. Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and material selections aligned with project budgets. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and environmental sustainability practices. - Build / Execution Responsibilities:
Oversee site implementation of approved landscape designs. Supervise construction activities including hardscape, irrigation, and planting works. Monitor contractor performance, quality of materials, and workmanship. Prepare progress reports, site inspections, and snag lists. Ensure timely project delivery within budget and quality standards. Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for materials, plants, and equipment. - General Duties:
Liaise with stakeholders including clients and government authorities. Provide technical guidance and support to site teams. Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance on site. Assist in preparing project proposals, tenders, and presentations.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Landscape Engineer. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
