Key Responsibilities
- Perform land and field surveys, including topographic, layout, and geodetic calculations
- Coordinate with contractors and the client to confirm survey requirements and project benchmarks
- Carry out setting‑out for roads, utilities, structures, and bridge elements
- Verify levels, horizontal controls, and locations of services to ensure protection and accuracy
- Prepare and maintain survey sketches, field books, notes, and calculations
- Measure completed works when required and support payment verification
- Assist in preparing as‑built data and drawings
- Follow site safety procedures and participate in safety briefings
- Support the engineering and supervision team through accurate, timely survey reporting
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 8 years experience in land surveying and setting‑out for roads, infrastructure, and bridges projects
- Proficient with total station, GPS, data collectors, and survey software
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and survey control documents
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and standard work procedures
- Good communication and technical reporting skills
