Land Surveyor – Construction
We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our construction team in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform setting-out activities for buildings, infrastructure, roads and utilities.
- Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, coordinates and reference levels.
- Verify plot boundaries, gridlines, elevations, alignments and dimensions according to approved drawings.
- Conduct topographical, level and as-built surveys.
- Coordinate surveying requirements with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, subcontractors and consultants.
- Identify and report discrepancies between drawings, coordinates and actual site conditions.
- Prepare survey reports, sketches, coordinate sheets, level records and as-built information.
- Ensure survey equipment is properly maintained, protected and calibrated.
- Follow project quality, safety and approved method-statement requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- UAE or GCC construction experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in using Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level and Digital Level.
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and relevant surveying software.
- Ability to read architectural, structural, civil and infrastructure drawings.
- Strong numerical, calculation and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Good command of English.
