We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician to join our team and support quality assurance activities across major infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory and field testing of construction materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining testing equipment, and providing accurate test reports to support project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory and field tests for concrete, asphalt, soil, backfilling materials, blocks, and other construction materials.
  • Monitor and inspect concrete pouring, asphalt works, and road subgrade/backfill activities to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare, review, and submit laboratory test reports and results for approval.
  • Ensure all testing activities comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Monitor laboratory equipment performance and maintain calibration records to ensure testing accuracy and reliability.
  • Coordinate with Materials Engineers, Quality Engineers, Site Engineers, and project consultants regarding testing activities and results.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly testing reports as required.
  • Maintain laboratory documentation, records, and quality control procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory and quality operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company HSE and quality management requirements.

Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Materials Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in construction materials testing laboratories.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure projects and large-scale construction projects.
  • Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory and field testing procedures for construction materials.
  • Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance requirements.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret testing reports and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Arabic and English communication skills.
