Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus)
- Valid SCFHS registration/classification as Laboratory Specialist
- Experience :
- 7+ years in a clinical laboratory, including 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Proven experience preparing labs for CBAHI accreditation; CAP or JCI exposure highly preferred
- Hands-on experience across multiple lab disciplines (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Bank)
- Demonstrated ownership of a Quality Assurance / Quality Control program, including proficiency testing and corrective action documentation
- Ability to evaluate and validate new methods, instruments, and vendors
- Proficiency with LIS and data analysis/reporting tools
- Strong grasp of critical/panic value protocols and result verification standards
- Experience in laboratory budgeting (revenue, cost, CAPEX) and resource planning
- Competency assessment and in-service training program design for testing personnel
- Staff scheduling, leave planning, and performance evaluation
- Handling patient, client, and staff complaints professionally
