Laboratory Engineer Jobs in Doha, Qatar at –
The Laboratory Engineer is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Laboratory Engineer identifiescontinuous improvementopportunities during service delivery, implements standard work, and manages risk during service delivery. This person interfaces with the customer to apply the appropriate fluid design and identifies opportunities to introduce new technology solutions and applications.
Responsibilities:
Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
Perform advanced additive selection for fluid design and recommend solutions to improve the process.
Perform procedural andprocess improvementplan feasibility, development, and implementation within the laboratory and fluid testing domains.
Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed.
Monitor the operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required.
Perform a Risk Analysis before each task/job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
Maintain the requiredsafety training.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor or Master holder, Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
Geomechanics training and work experience in rock lab.
Experience in running load frame equipment for a minimum of 2 years.
Willing to relocate permanently to Qatar.
