Job Summary
The UAE National Laboratory Technician supports laboratory operations by preparing equipment and materials, performing laboratory procedures, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of laboratory activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
Maintain laboratory equipment and coordinate servicing when required.
Monitor laboratory inventory and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety regulations and infection control procedures.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
Assist faculty, instructors, and students during laboratory sessions.
Dispose of laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.
Perform quality control procedures and report equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related laboratory field.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
